Diesel Mechanic/Field Service
L&T is seeking a Diesel/Field Service Mechanic. Responsible for day-to-day equipment maintenance on the fleet equipment consisting of preventative maintenance and minor to major repairs to fleet vehicles & equipment. Diesel engine experience is a plus. Experience in maintaining gas engines and full truck repairs preferred. Class A CDL preferred.
Independent Worker:
Must be responsible to maintain fleet and make repairs when needed. This role reports to the Shop Foreman and is responsible for maintaining service schedules, vendor relationships and coordinating with outside mechanics when needed.
Responsibilities/Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of verifiable experience in preventive maintenance of various types of diesel, gas engines & construction equipment
- Must be able to handle minor to moderate repairs independently
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Must have reliable transportation
- Subject to Drug Testing
- Clean Driving Record
- Clean criminal history

Driver/Operator (Class A)
L&T is seeking a Heavy Equipment Driver/Operators with a Class A CDL to join our team. We are looking for dependable, motivated workers who are dedicated to safety, teamwork, and professionalism. Responsibilities/Qualifications:
- Transport oversized/overweight heavy equipment
- Must operate heavy equipment proficiently such as but not limited to motor grader, dozer, excavator, backhoe.
- Inspect rig and trailers for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods etc.) as well as with company policies and procedures
- Load and unload heavy equipment (cranes, excavators, etc.)
- Secures cargo for transport, using ropes, blocks, chain, binders, or covers.
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
- Report defects, accidents or violations
- Must be drug free and remain drug free during duration of employment.
- Must E-verify with two valid forms of ID.
- Must pass a background check. (No Felonies)
- Must be able to tolerate working in varying weather conditions and environment such as but not limited to dust, dirt, loud noise, rain, hot or cold climate.
- Must be keep all work areas clean and orderly, informing management promptly of any safety concerns.
- Must comply with company and OSHA policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Must report in a timely manner to worksite and/or meetings as directed by upper management supervisor.
- Must be able to properly lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
- Must have a flexible availability to include overtime, nights and weekends.
- Must have to ability to exert up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 40 pounds of force regularly to move objects.
- Must have a clean driving record with valid State Driver's License. (3-year MVR)

- Must operate equipment efficiently to maintain production goals in a time matter with attention to detail and surroundings.
- Must be drug free and remain drug free during duration of employment.

Rail Tech/General Laborer
L&T is seeking track laborers and will be required to safely and efficiently inspect, repair, and maintain the railroad track infrastructure to insure safe and efficient service to our customers. This is a manual labor position, which requires that the individual becomes proficient in the following skills, duties, and requirements within a prescribed training and introductory period.

Travel:
Work involves extensive local & out of town travel. Must be available for call 24/7.
